Kamuflaža, Samomori v Sloveniji or Camouflage: Suicide in Slovenia is a short photographic documentary on Slovenia that holds one of the world's highest suicide rates. In 2009 they were 5th on the list.

This documentary project is about the notion of disguising oneself or hiding oneself from himself or herself. It represents the social unease, as well, as mental unease that can be derived from its environment and pressures from society. Camouflage is about Slovenia, a country that is in the top 5 in the world where their nationals commit suicide. Developing trends and annexation into Europe are some of the causes of distress in the population yet there are many theories, and approaches to these social phenomena.

This project studied the psychiatric system in Slovenia, doctors and its patients. It was an organic comprehension of the subject at hand through the sharing of a communal condition. With this I did not look for answers but rather testimonies of what makes us the same and different: human. Here we have a comprehensive mosaic of places and people that are part of the same canvas.

The human experience is one that transcends itself from generation to generation. I embark with these projects to share these footprints in time. True comprehension of this is tacit
